Municipal Court
Request for Deferred Disposition for a Moving Violation
Deferred Disposition must by approved by the Municipal Judge. Deferred Disposition is not available for speeding in a construction zone.
Deferred Dispostion will keep your violation from appearing on your driving record. If you are interested in deferred disposition you need to complete the attached request form and return to the Municipal Court on or before your appearance date (10 business days from date of violation). If you choose deferred disposition you will be making an agreement with the Municipal Court that you will NOT receive any other citations in the City of Marble Falls for a period of 90 days. You are obligated to pay the fee set by the Municipal Court and return the signed Deferral Agreement provided to you by the Muncipal Court.
If you are under the age of 25 and request deferred disposition for ticket dismissal, you must attend a driving safety course. If you hold a provisional license you are also required to take an examination at the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and pay a fee to DPS for the examination. Additional conditions may be set forth by the Municipal Judge. Please contact the Municipal Court for these conditions.
